1. INTERPRETATION
   • In this Agreement, unless inconsistent with or otherwise indicated by the context
     • “This Agreement” means the Agreement contained in this document;
     • “Client” means any person, individual, entity that voluntary engages with The Outpost Supply for purposes of acquiring its services, products, marketing material and other relevant material;
     • “The Company/Service provider” means The Outpost Supply (Pty) Ltd (The Outpost Supply), a company registered under the laws of South Africa with Registration Number 2017/087068/07, and includes its directors and employees;
     • “personal information” means personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013;
     • ‘‘processing’’ means any operation or activity or any set of operations, whether or not by automatic means, concerning personal or any information, including but not limited to :the collection, receipt, recording, organisation, collation, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, alteration, consultation or use of personal information;
     • “POPIA” means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.

WHEREAS IT IS AGREED THAT

All parties agree that they will comply with POPI regulations and process all the information and/or personal data in respect of the services being rendered in accordance with the said regulations and only for the purpose of providing the Services that constitutes DGW’s primary business as a service provider.

   • One or more of the parties to this agreement, will possess and will continue to possess information that may be classified or maybe deemed as private, confidential or as personal information.
   • Such information may be deemed as the private, confidential or as personal information in so far as it relates to any party to this agreement.
   • Such information may also be deemed as or considered as private, confidential or as personal information of any third person who may be directly or indirectly associated with this agreement.
   • Further it is acknowledged and agreed by all parties to this agreement, that such private, confidential or as personal information may have value and such information may or may not be in the public domain.

1. All parties irrevocably agree to abide by the terms and conditions asset out in this agreement as well as irrevocably agree and acknowledge that all information provided, whether personal or otherwise, may be used and processed by The Outpost Supply for the purposes intended and for no other purposes whatsoever unless consented thereto by the Client or by order of a Court or a legal instrument.

1. Further it is specifically agreed that The Outpost Supply will use its best endeavours and take all reasonable precautions to ensure that any information provided, is only used for the purposes it has been provided.

It is confirmed that by submitting information to The Outpost Supply, irrespective as to how such information is submitted, the Client consents to the collection, collation, processing, and storing of such information and the use and disclosure of such information in accordance with this policy.

Declaration by Client

1. It is hereby declared and confirmed by the Client that he/she do hereby irrevocably consents to and understand that any/all information supplied or given to The Outpost Supply, is done so in terms of the terms and conditions of this Agreement and consent declaration.

1. The Client has the right to at any time inform The Outpost Supply in writing that it revokes its consent in terms of this Agreement and The Outpost Supply will then destroy any and all personal information of the Client in its database whereafter such person will cease to be a client of The Outpost Supply.

 

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
